Live music and real ale was enjoyed at a festival in Gildersome.
The village’s first beer and music festival- 561ft above Sea Level- was held last Sunday at Gildersome Sports Club, on Street Lane.
The event was sold out and featured magicians, a bouncy castle, face painting and three bars offering guest beers.
Circus workshops saw children take part in juggling, stilt walking and trapeze acrobatics.
And there was live music from acts including Mainline, Mars Glory, The Dark LP, Pull The Trigger, Shed Heads, Ledger, The Wylde Fuzz Show and the headline act BigMouth.
Lianne Kilbride, who organised the festival along with Ryan Hirst, said: “A lot of hard work went into it. It all came together and was absolutely fantastic. The bands were amazing and a lot of people told us they really enjoyed it.”
Money was raised to improve sporting facilities at the club and for Lions International. Sponsors included JTF Mega Discount Warehouse, GMAP Ltd and Morley Leisure Centre Cafe.
