Morley’s NHS Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is holding its public governing body meeting next week.
The meeting is on Wednesday, January 8 at 2.30pm, at St Peter’s Church, Morley and is open to members of the public.
It will be an opportunity for people to listen to discussions about local healthcare services and what the CCG is currently doing to improve local health services.
Visseh Pejhan-Sykes, Chief Finance Officer for NHS Leeds West CCG said: “Our governing body meetings will help members of the public to understand what their CCG is doing to improve healthcare services for our communities, and what has already been done so far.
“We also give people the chance to get involved by asking questions at the beginning and at the end of the meeting. Patients are at the heart of everything we do, which is why all our governing body
meetings open up with a patient voice.
“The purpose of this is that patients share their experiences of local healthcare services with the CCG, as this helps us to know where thing are working well and what needs improving. This will be a good
opportunity for members of the public to listen to other people’s experiences of using local healthcare services.”
