Pupils took over control of the classroom out at Fountain Primary School
The school held a Takeover Day which allowed pupils to be in charge of the classroom for the day with children taking on different roles from being headteacher to caretaker.
The idea behind the day is to allow children to work alongside the adults for the day and become involved in decision making.
After the huge responsibility of running their school, pupils went back to having fun and set up an exciting camp on the school fields with lots of activities filling the day.
Teacher Mrs Williams said: “Takeover Day proved really popular with the children, giving them a real taste of working life!”
The aim of the task was to prepare them for future residentials.
