Staff from Sainsbury’s White Rose went back to school on Friday when they paid a visit to Broomfield South SILC, their local charity partner, for a Macmillan coffee morning and to visit pupils for a tour of their school.

Staff, pupils and teachers went on to meet at Sainsbury’s to celebrate the start of the year long partnership where colleagues will help fundraise and raise awareness for the charity for the whole year and were celebrating a fantastic start to the partnership for which they have already nearly reached £1,000.

The store is also planning to raise awareness for autism as well as raising funds for the school.

Staff are also looking at taking part in school events and helping involve pupils in career days at the store.

Broomfield SILC was chosen as the store’s Local Charity partner after customers nominated local charities in store and online.
