Family fun was back in Drighlington on Saturday as the village enjoyed the return of its gala day.
The last gala was held 20 years ago, but returned with a bang at Moorland Showgrounds with events including a tug of war, international food, a beer tent and funfair rides.
And newly crowned Gala Queen Mia Mortimer opened the event before a parade passed through the village and onto the showground.
There was also face painting and entertainment from Esprit Dance Troop and Drighlington primary dance and live music filled the air thanks to Samuel S Parkes and Shelbi Paige.
The event also featured sheep dog trials and a flying visit from Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Waltzers and roller coasters entertained young thrillseekers, as well as trampolines and train rides.
