Morley is rolling out the red carpet this weekend and getting all patriotic to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s 90th birthday.
On Saturday June 11, Morley Town Hall will be dressed in red, white and blue as key organisations come together to bring an indoor street party.
Starting at 10am there will be stalls selling gifts, food and jewellery, a host of entertainment on stage including Mollie Taggart and Jack Noble.
The Morley WI will be serving cakes, bakes and afternoon tea with a visit from The Mayor and Mayoress of Morley, Councillors Bob and Lesley Gettings.
Local organisation, Creation Station will be on hand all day with art and craft activities of a royal theme and look out for the regal stilt walkers making an appearance from noon.
With funfair rides spilling out on to Queen Street, there will be fun for all the family.
Funded by Morley Town Council and Housing Leeds and brought to you by Morley Town Centre Management Board, everyone is being invited to bring along their own picnics or join us for a glass of Pimms with the WI as we raise a toast for The Queen’s 90 th birthday.
