ALMOST 1,000 people were estimated to have turned out to pay their respects at Morley's Remembrance Sunday service this year.
Many more attended services at the war memorials in Gildersome, Churwell and Tingley.
The Festival of Remembrance, held in Morley Town Hall the previous Friday, was yet again an enormous success and was an emotional experience for many who attended.
