MEMBERS of the Morley Cricket Club have been kitted out in Maroon outfits for use in the inaugural Dyson Insulation Twenty/20 competition, courtesy of a £250 donation from Yorkshire Building Society.
The donation is from the society’s Community Investment Fund, which is set up to support small, local community causes that are often overlooked for support by large organisations.

David Dowse, Chairman of the Morley’s cricket committee said: “This is an exciting new competition for the club and will hopefully allow us to raise much needed income. The team is very popular in our local community and we are proud to have secured the support of such a prestigious sponsor.”

The qualifying games will take place on Tuesday nights and Sunday afternoons throughout the summer.

A list of fixtures can be found on the club’s website - www.morleycricketclub.
