DRIGHLINGTON Under-11s played almost all the game with only 10 men because of illness and worked hard for a 4-3 home win over Battyeford.
Striker Harvey Booth was strong and determined and scored an impressive hat-trick to be named MoM.

The Battyeford goalkeeper made several fine saves before Booth struck.

Early in the second half Booth broke down the right before firing home.

Battyeford replied with two quick goals but Drig hit back as Booth beat three defenders on a weaving run and scored from the edge of the area.

Hodgson completed Drig's scoring tally with a well-placed shot while goalkeeper Council made some vital saves.

The visitors scored a late goal but Drig stood firm for a deserved win.
