ARDSLEY Celtic FC were relieved on Saturday evening after a victory in their last game of the season saw them avoid relegation from the Premier Division of the West Riding County Amateur League.
Celtic went into their final game knowing only a win would ensure their survival and they responded to the challenge at home to Brighouse Town, winning 3-0 with goals from Graham Marchant, Dave Cateroche and Grant Illingworth.

Morley Town continued their winless run with a 5-0 Division Two defeat at Campion last Friday. They now play their last game of the season tonight (Wednesday) away at Tyersal, 6.15pm kick-off. All players to meet at the Glen Road changing rooms 5pm prompt.
