Jackson fires winner for Spurs

GILDERSOME Spurs reached the Yorkshire Old Boys Shield quarter-finals with a hard-fought 3-2 win at St Nicholas.
James Bradd gave Gildersome a first half lead and Matty Moon scored after the break. St Nicholas drew level but Matty Jackson hit the winner late on as holders Spurs booked a home tie with Modernians.

st 5-1 to Leeds Medics Reserves in the Senior B Division. East Ardsley Wanderers (Andrew Paske) slipped to fourth-bottom in Division One after losing 4-1 at home to Leeds Medics Thirds.

Beeston maintained a two-point lead over Grangefield in Division Two after a 2-0 victory at Farnley Sports thanks to a brace from Stephen Parker.

Gildersome Spurs Thirds (Nick Burrett and Ash Brookes) had a 2-1 win over Alwoodley Reserves.

n Beeston St Anthonys remain top of the West Yorkshire League Premier Division after a 2-0 success at Otley Town.

An 11th league win of the campaign saw Beeston stay four points clear of Bardsey, who have three games in hand.

Beeston St Anthony's Reserves won their top-two clash in Alliance Division One to close the gap on leaders Wetherby Athletic Reserves.

A 1-0 win left them 12 points behind the leaders but Beeston have six games in hand.

n Morley Cricket and Sports Club (Steven Chew and Kyle Varney) kept their title charge on track in Wakefield League Division Two with a 2-1 win at Dewsbury Rangers Reserves.

Morley stand second, three points behind leaders Garforth Rangers with a game in hand.
