LEEDS United failed to score for only the second time this season as they crashed to a 2-0 defeat at Peterborough in the Saturday noon showdown.
Gary McAllister's men came into the game on the back of six successive victories, an unbeaten away record and a string of impressive performances, but fell behind two minutes into the second half to a controversial George Boyd goal, allowed to stand
although Dominic Green appeared to handle in the build-up.
And although the Whites did much of the attacking for the rest of the half Peterborough clinched their biggest win in years two minutes into injury time as Craig Mackail-Smith netted.
The day went wrong for United before kick-off when they lost goalkeeper David Lucas to an injury in the warm-up. Casper Ankergren stepped in, but it meant they had no keeper on the bench as Ben Parker was named as substitute, having been the 17th man.
