MORLEY'S Ben Kaye produced an excellent debut for World Club Champions Leeds Rhinos last Friday.
The 19-year-old former Churwell Chiefs player started at hooker and set up the Rhinos' first score before touching down for a try as Leeds thrashed Harlequins 48-0.
His fine short pass sent Jamie Jones-Buchanan over for a try before the Rhinos ran in a further six tries, including Rob Burrow's 100th for the club.
Kaye then capped a fantastic night as he scooted in for the final try a minute from full-time.
Kaye was spotted playing for Churwell Chiefs by the Rhinos and has been with the Leeds Academy since 2005.
He has also represented Yorkshire at Under-14 and Under-16 level, while he has played for England at Under-16 level.
Fellow Morley lad, prop Nick Scruton, who also started his junior career at Churwell, was also among the scorers.
n The Rhinos will host Celtic Crusaders in the Challenge Cup on Friday April 18, kick-off 8pm.
