HUNSLET Warriors will contest the Yorkshire Amateur Rugby League's Fred Marshall Senior Cup final on Saturday.
Tony Caunce’s side are up against arch rivals Queens with the game to take place at a venue still to be decided. They will be looking to make it a winning hat-trick, having recently beaten their Leeds rivals twice in Premier League matches.

The Warriors made it through to the final after overcoming Hunslet Old Boys 16-8 in a semi-final cut short by a serious leg injury to Jason Milner.

Both teams decided to leave the result to stand as with eight minutes remaining the players found themselves having to stand around for about 40 minutes waiting for an ambulance to arrive to take Warriors player Milner to hospital.

Warriors had taken a 12-2 lead with tries by Danny Rowse and Tony Swift plus two Rowse conversions, against a Carl Briggs penalty.

Old Boys hit back with a try from Jamie Bradley and a Briggs conversion, but Warriors inched to 16-8 with Rowse and Richard Wheelhouse kicking penalties before the early end to the game.
