Leeds United have taken their number of summer signings up to 14 with at least one more expected to join them before tonight’s transfer deadline.
The much talked about deal for 20-year-old Brazilian starlet Adryan was finally completed on Saturday evening as he joined on loan with a view to a permanent sign - providing international clearance comes through.
Adryan Oliveira Tavares, to give him his full name, is a current Brazil under 20 international and has been involved in the national set-up since under 15 level.
He came through the youth ranks at Flemengo before joining Cagliari on an 18-month loan deal in January.
He has been joined at Leeds by 19-year-old defender Dario Del Fabro, whose arrival on loan - again with a view to a permanent signing - from Cagliari, subject to international clearance, was confirmed on Sunday.
The 19-year-old centre-back is a current Italian under 19 international.
United have now been linked with former West Ham forward Brian Montenegro with a deal expected to be made with the 21-year-old Paraguayan’s Nacional club.
