Outlook looking brighter for re-formed Beeston outfit

SIGNS are good for revitalised Beeston Under-12s after securing sponsorship.

Yorkshire Signs have supplied shower proof training jackets for the team, which re-formed thanks to the efforts in the close season of manager Lee Horsman and coach Simon Tate.

“We are delighted that Andy Hemingway from Yorkshire Signs has agreed to this sponsorship and would like him to know how much we appreciate it,” said Lee who is pictured, right, along with Simon and the squad.

Gildersome Spurs Under-11s got back to winning ways with an emphatic 8-2 home win over Rothwell Town.

A first half hat-trick by left winger Aaron Hammond set them on their way. Further goals followed from Jordan McCartney and a rare strike by Ben Roper.

James Shaw completed another hat-trick in the second half.

Right wing Jordan McCartney pipped right-back Matthew Hazelwood to the MoM award.
