After the morale booster of earning two bonus points against the team in second place in the league Morley RFC turn their attention to another big home game this Saturday when they entertain Lymm (Kick-off 3pm).

The Maroons will be looking to close the gap on the teams above them as their visitors to Scatcherd Lane stand just two places above them in the National Three North table.

Morley’s fortunes have turned for the better in their last three matches with a couple of narrow defeats and the win over Cleckheaton and they can gain some confidence also from the fact they beat Lymm away from home back in November.

But the Maroons remain in the relegation places, third from bottom and nine points adrift of fourth from bottom Burnage with a game in hand.
