Morley will look back on their 20-20 draw at National 3 North rivals Westoe as an opportunity missed.
The Maroons conceded an early penalty but tries from Andy Funnell and Bradley Marshall, the latter converted by Dante van der Merwe, gave the visitors a 12-3 lead midway through the half.
The hosts finished the first half the stronger and Gary Armstong’s brace, one of which was converted, put them three points ahead at the break.
Van der Merwe’s brilliant score was followed by a penalty as Morley reasserted themselves but Sam Gaff’s touch-down levelled the game.
Sam Brown went close to nicking a winning try for Morley but the game ended in a stalemate.
