Folk band Skinny Lister are heading for Leeds and will be playing at the Brudenell Social Club on Wednesday, April 29 in celebration of the release of their second album ‘Down On Deptford Broadway’, which came out this week on Xtra Mile Recordings.

The video for their single ‘Trouble On Oxford Street’ can be viewed at www.youtube.com/watch?v=AB3ew6BZiv0 and features the band taking over London’s Oxford Street for a few hours.

The new video for their next single What Can I Say? features singer Lorna asking the titular question in various windswept locations and giving us an answer towards the end. You can watch that at https://youtu.be/7zBweuQkAkA

The band have just returned from the SXSW Festival in the USA before some support shows in the UK with Chuck Ragan.

New single ‘What Can I Say?’ (released on June 1) shows a different side to the band’s repertoire - a more restrained, melodic and folk-steeped sing-along, the light-hearted pre-hangover dawn song you sing to both celebrate and mourn the morning to come.
