More exciting events will be held over the next week as part of the Morley Arts Festival.
Tonight in Morley Library, Lucy Moore will present Great War Britain Leeds, an account of the city’s efforts during the conflict from 6.30pm-8pm. Buy £4 tickets at the library or greatwarleeds.eventbrite.co.uk
And on Friday, food historian Dr Annie Gray will host The History of Gin at Morley Town Hall. The talk will touch on the drink’s notorious reputation through the ages. The Morley Homemade Fair will take place at the town hall on Saturday and is free to enter from 9.30am-4pm. Stalls will be up selling produce and crafts.
The Digital/Phone Photography Workshop for beginners and improvers with Maria Spadafora will take place at Oscars Bar from 10.30am-12.30pm on Sunday. Tickets are £6 for the informal session, which will get punters a breakfast roll and hot drinks. Book at phonephotographyworkshop.eventbrite.co.uk.
A family workshop with Leeds Grand Theatre called Behind the Curtain will take place on Monday at the MAOS Rehearsal Room at Morley Cricket Club for £3. Get tickets from the library.
