Morley’s Specsavers has received a note of thanks from a Brownie group for donating high-visibility vests to keep the girls safe when they are out and about.

The branch in Windsor Court donated high-visibility vests to Brownies and Rainbows in Churwell along with Westerton and Asquith primary schools.

The team started the campaign to increase the safety of local children by making it easier for motorists to spot them when their activities take them into the community, or when they’re out on school trips.

As part of the initiative, Specsavers are also hoping to raise awareness of free glasses and eye tests to under 16-year-olds.
