Cabinet Office Minister Francis Maude will address the Morley and Outwood Business Association on January 7 at an event hosted by Morley firms Archbold Logistics and Shopbox.
At the event Conservative prospective parliamentary candidate Andrea Jenkyns will launch a constituency wide business and skills survey of firms in the Morley and Outwood area to see what knowledge and skills local employers are looking for from applicants and school leavers.
The event is open to all local business people and other interested parties free of charge. To book tickets or for more information email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Andrea Jenkyns said: “The idea for the survey came from discussions with local business people and schools, it’s important our schools know what employers are looking for.
“Unemployment is falling and we owe it to our young people to give them the skills the need to enter the workforce when they leave school and university.
