Concern over missing woman

Police are becoming increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of a 24-year-old woman with links to Leeds who has been missing since Saturday.

Tashi Thornley, who comes from Formby in Merseyside, was last seen at home by her brother at about 4.30pm on Saturday, January 4.

Since being reported missing officers have been actively seeking Tashi, who regularly visits Leeds to see friends.

House-to-house inquiries have been carried out and detectives are viewing CCTV to establish her whereabouts.

Concerned family and friends are appealing to Tashi, or anyone who may know where she is, to contact the police.

She is described as white, 5ft 6in tall, of slim build with blue eyes and short hair dyed blue. She speaks with a Liverpool accent.

Tashi was believed to be wearing a grey hooded top, blue tracksuit bottoms, a maroon coloured hat and carrying a grey rucksack.
