A pair of robbers forced a teenage girl to show them where she kept her cash and jewellery after they broke into her home.

The intruders went into the house on Owl Lane, Ossett , at about 10.40am on Friday.

After searching through the downstairs rooms the robbers went upstairs.

They then forced the 16-year-old girl to show them where the valuables were kept.

They then left with an amount of money and some jewellery.

Det Con Phil Davis of Wakefield CID, said: “Thankfully the victim was not hurt during this incident but was left very shaken by it. I would appeal to anyone who saw two males acting suspiciously in the area to get in contact.”

Anyone with information should call Wakefield CID on 101.
