Pub-goers can sample more than 24 different beers during a 17-day festival that gets underway this week.
The price of pints will be reduced as part of the festival, which will be held at Wetherspoon’s Picture House pub in Morley.
The festival at the pub in Queen Street starts tomorrow (Friday) and will run until Sunday March 29.
Manager Jonathan Pierce said: “The festival is the perfect opportunity to showcase the wonderful range of British-grown hop varieties and support British hop farmers.
“It will give people the opportunity to enjoy a superb selection of UK and international beers, many of which have not been served in the pub before.
“The festival promises to be great fun and I am certain that my customers will enjoy themselves.”
Brewers from countries across the world – including Brazil, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, America, Spain, Ireland and Australia – will showcase a number of beers during the festival.
Around 25 different UK beers will also be on offer.
All beers will cost £1.89 per pint during the festival.
People can try any three beers in special third-of-a-pint glass for the price of one pint.
International beers on offer will include Spider Bite, Shipwreck IPA, Durban Pale Ale, Hightail Ale, California Breakfast Ale, Dwyer’s Irish Stout, English IPA, ESA.
UK beers available will include Play it Again Sam, Monty Python’s Holy Grail, Puffin Ale, Mojo, New Moon and New Dawn Ale.
