Former Premier League and England footballer Paul Merson will tell all about his life both on and off the pitch in Gildersome next month.
The retired sportsman, who is now a football pundit, will speak to sports fans during an appearance at Gildersome Sports Club on Sunday November 29 from 2pm.
Merson started his career at Arsenal in 1984 and went on to star for the North London outfit under manager George Graham.
He also played in the Premier League for Middlesbrough and Aston Villa, as well as in the Football League for Brentford and Portsmouth.
He spent two years as player-manager at Walsall before finishing his career in non-league football with Tamworth.
In his international career, he won 21 caps for England, scoring three times.
He is now a television pundit with Sky Sports on the popular Gillette Soccer Special on Sunday afternoons.
