Young people can access careers advice and information about university and college courses at an event at Leeds United’s Elland Road ground this week.
The stadium’s Centenary Pavilion is hosting the Skills Yorkshire and Humber jobs and skills event on Wednesday, October 14 and Thursday from 9.30am-3pm.
It will feature national and regional employers including The British Army, ITV, Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust, McDonald’s and West Yorkshire Police.
The event is aimed at young people aged between 14 and 19, who can be accompanied by their families, parents or carers during an open evening on Wednesday from 5pm-7pm.
There will also be challenges and activities on offer on the day, including a print workshop with Leeds College of Art, sessions making mobile phone cases and practical games screwing nuts and bolts together with Arnold Clark GTG Training.
