Hundreds of talented youngsters from across the district sprinted, chucked and jumped during Morley Junior Sports Day.
Children aged seven to 11 from 14 primary schools in the area took part in the sporting event at Bruntcliffe School.
It featured almost 500 youngsters trying their luck in a variety of running, jumping and throwing activities.
Bruntcliffe headteacher Anne-Marie Garnett said: “It was a delight to see so many young people having such a great time.
“The Junior School Sports Day is a wonderful example of schools in the Morley area working together to provide enhanced learning opportunities for all our pupils.”
Primary schools which took part in the event last Thursday included Fountain Primary School, Morley Victoria, Churwell, Drighlington, Blackgates, Asquith, Seven Hills, Morley Newlands, Hill Top, Birchfield, Gildersome, East Ardsley, Westerton and St Francis.
