Dance group Kids for Kids were celebrating after walking away with yet another selection of trophies and medals at their 20th disco dance competition at Leeds Town Hall - and also handed over a very generous donation to charity.
The dancers found themselves up against 10 youth groups from all over the country, 338 solo dancers and 45 teams and danced away with nine awards.
Darcy-Mae Armatage, won second place in the six and under solo, Alex Carrier was awarded third place in the 12 and under solo, Kidz Crew came third in the eight and under teams. Intensity came second in the 14 and under teams, Pure Energy were awarded third place in the 17 and under, Adrenaline came fifth in the 18 and over and Destiny came second in the 18 and over teams.
Val Cust from Kids for Kids said: “The day was amazing everyone had a great time and was enjoyed by all.
“This year our chosen charity was Radio Aire and Radio Magic’s Cash For Kids and during the presentation of the awards a Cheque for £1,936 was presented to Lisa from Cash or Kids.
“We would like to thank all of our leaders, dancers, parents, friends and dance groups for their help and support on the day. It was a very proud day for all of Kids For kids who will be 33 years old in September.”
