A man has been arrested and questioned by police after large quantities of drugs were seized from his home by police.
The man in his 30s was apprehended at his Drighlington home over the weekend after officers obtained a drugs arrest warrant from Leeds Magistrates Court.
Cannabis and steroids were among the illegal substances found at the address.
Police said the man had been interviewed and investigations were ongoing.
PC Paul Coates, of Morley Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We executed a drugs warrant we obtained under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act at an address in Drighlington and this was successful.
“Large quantities of cannabis and steroids were found.
“ A man in his early 30s was placed under arrest.”
Cannabis is a Class B drug and accounts for around two thirds of drug related offences in the UK.
