A HELICOPTER landing area is being planned for Woodlands Hotel in Gildersome.
Tomahawk Holdings Ltd has applied to Leeds City Council's planning department for the 10m diameter level, reinforced concrete helipad, set in a field south of the Gelderd Road Hotel.
There would be a concrete path leading to the boundary fence, a new gate and a stone flagged walkway would lead from the helipad to the hotel grounds.
Other applications submitted include: Mr Pepe Vacarro, reserved matters application for one five-bedroomed detached house, plot 1, rear of the Towers, Elland Road, Churwell; Electricity Supplies Nomineers Pension Fund Ltd, layout access road, refurbishment of existing industrial units and construction of four new business units (use classes B1, B2 and B8) with service areas, car parking and landscaping, Bracken Park and overland industrial estate, Gelderd Road, Gildersome.
