LETTERS: Junior doctors are striking to protect patients’ lives, not put them at risk

Junior doctors' went on strike last week.
Junior doctors' went on strike last week.

Andrea Jenkyns has to justify just how were junior doctors risking lives by going on strike.

Her colleague Jeremy Hunt has mishandled the negotiations from the start.

Indeed the doctors are going on strike to protect patient safety (98 per cent voted to strike).

I would also like to know Andrea’s views on her colleague Oliver Letwin’s promise to privatise the NHS within five years of the election of a majority Conservative government.

I know I have said it before but the people of Morley have voted for an MP who is part of a government that is destroying the NHS.
