A mini model from Tingley will see national and international stardom after winning a competition to front a leading baby brand.
Jemima Twohey, who is 15 months old, was chosen out of more than 400 cute tots to become the face of Bizzi Growin.
The suppliers and designers of soft nursery furnishings launched a UK-wide search for babies and toddlers to assist with its 2016 marketing campaign.
Jemima was crowned winner by a panel of independent judges that included celebrity mum-of-two and TV presenter Laura Hamilton.
The adorable little girl was entered into the competition by her proud mother, Laura Twohey.
Laura said: “We never expected that Jemima would be chosen but we were, of course, delighted and excited at the prospect.
“We think she’s beautiful inside and out as she is always so happy and smiley.
“All parents think their child is beautiful but it’s nice for us to know that other people think Jemima is too.
“She loved being part of the photo shoot and we can’t wait to see her appear in the marketing material both nationally and internationally. It’s very exciting!”
Rebecca Rowlands is head of product development at Bizzi Growin.
She said: “We were overwhelmed with the amount of entries that we had in such a short space of time and all of the babies that were entered were so beautiful, it made our decision a very tough one!
“Along with Laura Hamilton and our other judges, we chose Jemima as one of the babies to help us as we feel she represents our brand well and can grow with us as the brand and range of products also grow.
“We want to welcome Jemima to the brand and congratulate her on a great achievement at such a young age!”
Jemima and her mum were treated to a two night stay at luxury countryside hotel Eaves Hall in Lancashire.
They also emjoyed an abundance of Bizzi Growin products and a professional photoshoot with Scrumptious Photography.
Jemima’s picture will appear across a variety of the brand’s marketing material for the next year. To find out more about Bizzi Growin, visit www.bizzigrowin.com.
