Morley bank backs daffodil drive

Morley’s branch of the Yorkshire Building Society is asking customers to join its charity appeal. The bank is supporting Marie Curie’s Hour of Need campaign to fund nursing care for terminally ill people. The Queen Street branch has raised £1,366 and is urging the public to wear Daffodil Appeal pin badges this spring.

“By supporting the appeal you’ll be helping to provide care for people in their hour of need. Sadly most of us know someone who has been affected by terminal illness but by wearing a pin you can help make a difference,” said branch manager Peter Jowett.
