REMEMBER, remember the 5th of November... just as the Halloween pumpkins have been cleared away it is again time to light the bonfires for Guy Fawkes night. So don't miss the chance to catch the fireworks displays again at various locations in the area.
This weekend Morley RFC on Scatcherd Lane will be celebrating with fireworks on Friday, November 6.
The event starts at 6pm with the fireworks starting at 8pm.
There will be a raffle, a small fairground with a funhouse and bouncy castle and a pie and peas supper in the club house.
Entry is free to all with the gates opening at 6pm.
Over in Gildersome, a bonfire and fireworks party will be held at Gildersome Cricket and Taverners Club on Saturday.
The fire will be lit at 6.30pm and there will be food and refreshments, fairground rides for children, a firework display and a monitored safe area where families can set off their own fireworks.
For traditonalists, November 5 bonfires and displays will be at Roundhay Park (bonfire 7.30pm, fireworks 8pm) and Middleton Park (bonfire 7pm, fireworks 7.30pm).
