Commuters could face delays while sections of the M62 motorway are closed overnight to carry out urgent repairs to a bridge.
Highways England said the M62 eastbound link road for the M18 will be closed tonight (March 24) at junction 35, near Rawcliffe, East Riding of Yorkshire.
The eastbound link road onto the soutghbound M18 will be shut from 6pm today until 8am tomorrow morning (March 25).
The organisation said the work to repair cracks in the bridge joint, identified during a routine inspection, was urgent and could not be delayed until after the Easter break.
Lane one on the westbound carriageway of the section of road will also be closed overnight.
Eastbound traffic will be diverted to junction 36, before being turned back round to the opposite carriageway during the work.
