Dancers from Morley took to the stage to perform in front of an excited audience for charity.
Phoenix Dance Group held its annual charity show last week and raise a huge £1,500.
The money is being split between Wakefield Hospice, which cares and supports those with life-threatening illnesses and Isla Smith, a young girl who has Dravet Syndrome, a rare and catastrophic form of intractable epilepsy, to help adapt her bedroom to suit her needs.
Dressed in their colourful costumes, the youngsters danced their hearts out to a packed Morley Town Hall.
As a thank you for all their constant hard work and entertainment, a £200 cheque was presented to dance leaders Sally Jefferies and Helen Loy, from the Mayor’s charity fund and it was announced that local estate agent Onwards and Upwards would be sponsoring the uniform of one of the teams.
