Police are appealing for information after three bikes were stolen in the space of two days in Morley.

A red cycle was stolen from an address on Topcliffe Mews last Tuesday before a Marin Palisides trail bike was taken from a garage on Prospect Place overnight. A third bike was stolen from the Asda store on Howley Park Road in the early hours of Wednesday.

It is the second time this year that police in Morley are having to deal with a spate of bike thefts, after a previous spree earlier this summer.

Morley police are also searching for a trailer that was stolen and towed away by a 4 x 4 vehicle from Blockleys on Fieldhead Lane in Drighlington just before 9pm last Tuesday.

The trailer is an IFOR Williams 3 axle trailer and it is thought that it could be used to transport small plant machinery.

Anyone with any information about any of the thefts should contact West Yorkshire Police on the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers free and in confidence on 0800 555111.
