An arson attack on a Jaguar car which spread to a garage and caused “significant damage” has led police to issue an appeal.
Detectives would like to speak to anyone who has information about the incident in Kitson Street, Tingley, on August 17 between 11.40pm and 11.59pm.
The culprit approached the front of the property and set fire to a black Jaguar car parked outside .
The blaze spread to the garage and caused significant damage.
Det Con Phillip Joyce, of Leeds District CID, said: “We are appealing for information regarding this fire, which was started deliberately, and which caused significant damage to a car and to a garage.
“This blaze could very easily have spread to the house potentially with with even more serious consequences, and it is important we catch whoever is responsible as soon as possible.”
