Pupils at Woodkirk Academy have been having lots of fun in school over the last couple of months, while raising lots of cash for good causes.
Sixth form students got into fancy dress to raise money for Wakefield Hospice, which was chosen by them as their charity and they have so far raised over £600 with money still being counted.
Most of the pupils took part and put a great deal of effort and imagination into their costumes. All the sixth form team also wore fancy dress.
Mr Lowe, head of sixth form, congratulated the students on their commitment to get involved in a worthwhile charity and said the money raised was phenomenal.
The fundraising school also raised over £1,000 by holding a coffee morning for MacMillan Cancer Support.
