Tingley certainly is creating some up and coming acting talent.

A regular on the big stage, Troy Tipple, is being joined on stage by fellow Tingley lad, Brandon Robinson-Connolly in the production of West Side Story at the Grand Opera House, York.

Troy, who is no stranger to the stage playing Charlie Bucket in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and has just finished an eight series TV show in Birmingham, will be playing Baby John in one of the all time great American musicals.

Brandon will be joining him as a fellow Jet in the all singing, all dancing show, with songs including Maria, Tonight and Somewhere.

Troy is preparing to start a specialism in Performing Arts at Leeds West Academy and will be continuing his training with Italia Conti Associates.

The show will run at the theatre from July 30 to August 1.
