A Morley man has appeared in court after a series of robberies at shops across Leeds.
Detectives from Leeds District CID have been investigating a number of robberies which happened in October and November, mainly at Co-op stores in the district.
John Colin Maude, 27, of Kirkness Court, Morley, appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court today following his arrest yesterday.
He is charged with two offences of robbery, two offensive of possession of an offensive weapon, two assaults, driving dangerously and driving while disqualified.
His case was committed for hearing at Leeds Crown Court on December 30.
Michael John Worville, 26, of Recreation Terrace, Leeds, appeared at court on December 4 charged with two counts of robbery and possession of a bladed article in connection with investigation.
