Love will be in the air at Leeds Valentine’s Fair as it

One of Europe’s biggest fairs is set to roll into the city to help spread that loving feeling in the run up to Valentine’s Day.

An array of rollercoasters, thrill rides, family attractions and the adrenaline-pumping Sky Flyer will once again set up camp at Elland Road for plenty of heart-racing adventure.

And this year the fair’s very own snow princesses will be attendance when the fun gets underway on Thursday February 12, from 5pm.

Roger Tuby and Stewart Robinson of International Fun Fairs said: “This year the fair is better than ever and we will be once again having a fantastic firework display too.

“We are looking forward to welcoming families from across the city and beyond for what is a truly spectacular half term experience.”

There will also be a free model show on Sunday February 15, in the Leeds United Banqueting Suite from 11am to give visitors the chance to see all the rides in miniature.

The fair’s chosen charity will be Martin House Hospice which cares for children and young people with progressive life limiting illnesses, and provides support to their families at the hospice in Boston Spa, Wetherby.

The Valentine’s Fair, which celebrates its 22nd year in Leeds, will be open until Sunday February 22.
