He has earned cult status in the world of football and his homecoming to Elland Road was something Leeds United fans cheered about.
United hero Tony Yeboah is appearing at an ‘audience with’ style event at the ground’s Centenary Pavilion at the weekend.
He shared stories about his time with the club as well as his route into football at the glittering event.
Yeboah, now aged 49, earned cult status with United’s fans after signing for £3.4m from Eintracht Frankfurt in 1995.
He scored 32 times in 66 appearances for the Whites and his long-range strikes against Liverpool and Wimbledon have gone down in club folklore.
The forward also notched a stunning hat-trick in a UEFA Cup game in Monaco.
