Youngsters’ sparkly production

Children from Churwell Primary School told a magical story as they performed their Christmas play.

Years three and four put on a production of When Sasha Got Swept up the Chimney, a comic tale of a young orphan who is swept to the North Pole.

“The children have worked really hard to learn and practice many lines, songs and dances. It has taken many rehearsals and extra practices in break and dinner times but it is finally there. I am extremely proud of the children who have created a special performance,” said Key Stage Two teacher Miss Walker.
